A tale of chevelle vintage cars |

This particular car is a '69 Yenko SYC Chevelle, about as wild a dealer-build street machine as you could buy with a warranty. This car sits in James Berry's garage in Titusville ,Florida, along with another '69 chevelle-this one a mundane 350 Malibu with just 15,000 miles on the ticker. To own such pair of Bow Tie brutes is a dream of many a musclecar lover and even fans of other brands will admit there's a lot of horsepower in the Berry garage. All carparts and accessories found at dealerships on line.It is a lot cheaper.[ Did we mention he also owns a pair of '63 ZO6 Corvettes] As James points out,"The Yenko is loud and wild, and with all the stripes and decals,it looks like the circus come to town'. The 300 Chevelle is equally as wild but much more subtle.James won't say it, but the 300 is more like a holy roller slipping out the casinos back door with the dice still hot in his hand.Amazing what a set of stripes can do for the vintage cars image.
